When I enter the IP it says that the IP address must consist of 4 numbers from 0 to 255, separated by periods. What can I do?

My IP address was empty when I hit the Ethernet but my airport says self assigned so I don’t have the IP to write to to put in that next step

If this doesn't work try connecting with your phone and copying IP from your phone's Wi-Fi settings. Go to System Preferences > Advanced > TCP/IP and select 'using DHCP with Manual Address' and paste in IP. Voila!

Sorry Mate, Fix doesn´t work on my MacBook Air 2017. Trying to fix ehternet connection by the way. It is vice versa here, i don´t wanna use WiFi anymore because of sickening radiation (scientifically proveld all along). - Seems to me that Apple just cared for to "block" the possibility to connect "old school" via cable to get online. The "system" doesn´t want us to use cable connections of any sorts (that´s why they push "mobile" everywhere), because they want´t to get us under control wherever we are located. Fuck them!

All that shit online talking about resetting PRAM delete configuration none are as effective as this video from 7 years ago, says a lot about the world
